Program Coordinator
Ophelia Murray is a passionate advocate for environmental justice, youth mentorship, and
education, with a strong background in program management and digital communications. She
holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Bennett College and is currently pursuing a
Master’s in Global Environmental Policy at American University. Through her roles as an
AmeriCorps Digital Service Fellow and Graduate Communications Assistant at American
University's Kay Spiritual Life Center, Ophelia has developed skills in organizing events,
mentoring youth, and supporting diverse communities. She is brings her experience and
commitment to fostering environmental stewardship and continues to empower future leaders to at GCSE.
