Join the Global Council for Science and the Environment (GCSE), for our September Sustainability Education Community of Practice meeting on September 26, 2024, where we will provide key updates on the Pathways towards Accreditation initiative.
This session will highlight the completed draft of dynamic, context-sensitive standards for Sustainability Degree Programs, developed by our community since 2021. We'll also discuss the upcoming Fall 2024 Program Directors Cohort, which will test these standards, and preview an NSF-funded workshop in Washington, D.C., focused on "Key Competencies and Best Practices for Sustainability Degree Programs."
Following these updates, we’ll explore the future direction of the SE CoP in collaboration with the Global Council for Science and the Environment, featuring insights from Executive Director Avriel Diaz.
