David G. Biron is a CNRS researcher of the Ecology and Environment Institute. He is working at the UMR CNRS/UCA 6023 at Clermont-Ferrand. He has a well established expertise in the field of host/parasite/pollutant interactions in ecosystems. He is the director of the Zone Atelier Territoire Uranifères using and developing remote observation tools (eg: sensors) to assess in ecosystems (springs, an old uranium mine) the risk of natural radioactivity enhanced by natural or anthropic factors. He is alo the manager of the "EcoHealth" working group of the CNRS Zones Ateliers Network.
